Mallet Finger Splint by Tynor is a simple device that maintains the distal interphalangeal joint in dorsi flexion position. It has an aluminium coated body that is malleable and can be bent and customized as per user’s need.
This Mallet Finger Splint is specially designed to correct the mallet finger deformity. The Splint supports the dip joint in hyper- extension, while permitting unrestricted movement of the PIP joint. A mallet finger injury causes loss of movement, pain, and swelling. Using a splint is the first-line treatment for a mallet finger as it provides rigid immobilization to the finger. The ergonomic design helps maintain a requisite hyper extension of DIP joint; it is also malleable letting you bend & customize the splint as needed. The splint has a Ethafoam lining for enhanced cushioning, it also has an inbuilt hook loop tape that ensures perfect fitting, excellent grip, and easy application. The Splint can help keep the fingertip straight until the tendon heals.
