The Humerus Bone is the longest bone in human arm. It connects the shoulder to the elbow joint. A minor injury or a sharp jerk can cause the bone to fracture. For complete heal it may take approx 6-12 weeks for fracture to heal and gain back strength. For the quick healing, the bone needs to be left immobilised. The Vissco Humorous fracture splint is designed to provide support required by the shoulder. The splint keeps the bone immobilized. The spilnt is made out of Pe-Ld sheet and is moulded to required shape. By locking the fitting together the humerous is kept safe. The fracture splint is best made to suit senior citizens requirement as it usually takes longer to heal in old age.
Note: The Humerus splint is used to support fractures and injuries of the arm bone ie.(Humerus). It is made of Fibre and is sturdy enough to support and stabilize humerus fracture.
