Balance cushions adds an element of instability to any workout, it helps to achieve joint stabilization (through improving proprioception) and train the core muscle groups with its unstable surface. These cushions encourages and develops core strength, stability and improves energy levels.
The Sanctband is a small inflatable cushion/disc which is 33 cm in diameter that adds an element of instability. Balance cushion features 2 different surfaces, the raised nodules and the smoother surface. The raised nodules allows a greater sensory function and acts as a grip providing enhanced stabilization. By decreasing the amount of air within the cushion to increase instability, the difficulty level can also be increased and vice versa. These cushions come inflated and can easily be adjusted using a normal air pump.
