Vissco Ash Brace is designed to limit movement in the thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine. Hyperextension braces prevent you from bending forward too much. In turn, this prevents you from potentially interfering with the healing of your spinal compression fracture and sensitive spinal structures. It maintains the position of Thoracic as well as the Lumbar spine in hyperextension position. It provides a semi-rigid, padded, plastic support with straps for adjustment help provides support and immobilization to the thoracic-lumbar junction. It is designed to act on a three-point principle by exerting pressure against 3 vital areas: the sternum and pubic and the lumbar region. This keeps firm support on the weakened area, facilitating the recovery process.
