400 Not Out!
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, June 21, we launched Rejuvenate by Seniority, our directive towards a continued commitment to rejuvenate the lives of senior citizens by furthering their health and wellness objectives. As a stepping stone, we organised a senior-citizen special Yoga event in Pune city, that also aimed to create a historic achievement by capturing Punes largest crowd of senior citizens coming together to perform hatha yoga in unison. Gracing the event, were our Chief Guest for the day, Shri Jagdish Tukaram Mulik, MLA (Vadgaonsheri) Pune Assembly who addressed the crowd, advising them on the occasion, to embrace good health by imbibing fitness in their daily regimes using the power of Yoga. Also, present at the event, our Special Guest, notable National Award winning actor, Shri. Mohan Joshi indulged in a few words of wisdom, highlighting how yoga has proved to be beneficial to the health of many. Needless to say, the crowd of over 400 senior citizens performing yoga on the lush green lawns of Joggers Park in Kalyani Nagars, sparkled in the glint of early morning sunshine. The event also received an astounding response from the local senior citizen community. Mr Homi Randeria, President of the Senior Citizens Club of Kalyani Nagar expressed his special thanks to Seniority, congratulating them for the glorious work done towards seeing a successful finish to this event. Our community member Mrs Vibhawari Shinde commented, Enjoyed and felt really rejuvenated. Thanks to Seniority for this wonderful initiative.
