Omron presents Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (HEM-6181), a compact, fully automatic BP monitor with advanced measurement posture guide sensor and IntelliWrap cuff wrap guide. Its body detection function prompts the user to retake measurement when an error is detected due to body movement. It detects irregular heartbeat and shows the symbol on the display along with the measurement result. The device has a morning average indicator that appears when you are viewing the weekly average readings taken in the morning. The hypertension indicator appears if the systolic and/or diastolic pressure outside the standard range (135/85 mmHg). It shows the average for last 2-3 readings within 10 minutes. The built-in sensor in the monitor determines if it is placed at the correct height. If the monitor is higher or lower than the heart, the heart position locator bar will appear to guide correct wrist positioning.
